I support a long-term facilities plan that is clear about costs and priorities and keeps families informed. Every student deserves to learn in a building that is safe, clean, and designed for learning.”

“Families, educators, and community members deserve clear communication and opportunities to be heard. I will push for accessible board meetings, regular public updates, and thoughtful responses to community input. Even when we disagree, trust and respect should be at the center of how we lead.”

“Montclair is facing real financial challenges, and we need responsible leadership to move forward. I will advocate for budgets that put students first, protect essential programs, and are grounded in transparency. Every dollar should support the classroom and reflect our community’s values.”

“Academic success depends on emotional well-being. I will support increased access to counseling services, stronger social-emotional learning programs, and proactive measures to prevent bullying. Every student should feel safe, supported, and seen in their school.”

“Families of students with IEPs and 504 plans often have to fight too hard for what their children need. I will work to improve communication, streamline support, and make sure students with disabilities get the services they are entitled to. A school that works for all learners is better for everyone.”

“Reliable transportation and thoughtful scheduling are part of what makes school work for families. I support making busing more consistent, ensuring safe walking routes, and listening to feedback on start times and after-school access. These are everyday challenges that deserve real solutions.”
